Rosemary

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), a woody, evergreen herb, is native to the Mediterranean and grows abundantly in the Adana and Mersin regions of Turkey.

Its needle-like leaves, green on top and white underneath. Fresh or dried, rosemary is widely used in Mediterranean cuisine for its bitter, astringent flavor, but excessive consumption can be harmful.

It is exported globally in various grades, tailored to customer needs, and packaged in kraft bags. Rosemary also serves as a tea and seasoning in the food sector.
